Services

Every piece of a retirement income plan, in one place.

From guaranteed income to tax-efficient withdrawals, here's what we cover when we build your plan.

A Quick Reference

Annuity types, at a glance.

Not every product fits every situation. Here's the short version of what each type actually does.

SPIA

Single Premium Immediate Annuity

Income starts right away, typically within a year. Straightforward, and can be structured for a set period or for life.

MYGA

Multi-Year Guarantee Annuity

A fixed rate locked in for a set number of years, usually 2 to 10. A CD-like way to grow a portion of savings predictably.

FIA

Fixed Indexed Annuity

Growth tied to a market index, with a cap and a floor. Participate in some upside without direct downside exposure.

DIA

Deferred Income Annuity

Similar to a SPIA, but income starts later, often years out. Useful for building a future income floor today.

Income Rider

Guaranteed Lifetime Withdrawal Benefit

Added to an indexed annuity to guarantee lifetime income, often the most flexible way to build a personal pension.

QLAC

Qualified Longevity Annuity Contract

Funded from an IRA, can defer required minimum distributions on that portion until as late as age 85.

Independent, By Design

We compare carriers. We don't work for one.

As an independent practice, a recommendation is based on what fits your plan, not on which company we're contracted with. That independence is the whole point.

Service 01

Retirement Income Planning

The foundation of everything we do. We build a month-by-month income plan that sequences Social Security, pensions, guaranteed income, and portfolio withdrawals so you know exactly where your paycheck comes from, every year of retirement.

Service 02

Guaranteed Income & Annuities

For the portion of your expenses that simply can't be missed, housing, food, healthcare, we look at whether repositioning some savings into guaranteed income makes sense. We're independent, so we compare products rather than pushing one carrier.

Market Risk Near Retirement

A downturn in the years right before or after you retire can do outsized, permanent damage to a portfolio, even if the market fully recovers later. We call this sequence of returns risk, and it's a central part of every plan we build.

Tax-Efficient Withdrawal Strategies

Which account you withdraw from, and when, has a direct impact on your lifetime tax bill. We sequence withdrawals across taxable, tax-deferred, and Roth accounts to keep more of what you've saved.

Healthcare & Medicare Bridge

If you retire before 65, healthcare costs before Medicare eligibility can be one of the biggest unplanned expenses in early retirement. We help you plan for that gap, and for Medicare decisions once you're eligible.

Legacy & Beneficiary Planning

We make sure the accounts and products in your plan actually reflect what you want to leave behind, and to whom, and we coordinate with your estate attorney or CPA rather than working in isolation.

Social Security Timing

The difference between claiming at 62 and waiting until 70 can be significant, and the right answer depends on your health, other income, and spousal benefits. We model your specific situation rather than relying on a generic rule of thumb.

Ongoing Plan Reviews

A retirement plan isn't a one-time document. We meet with clients on a regular cadence to review what's changed, market conditions, tax law, your own goals, and adjust the plan accordingly.
